Peer Support Project – ‘Fight Song’

Over on my peer support group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/DoodleChroniclesPeerSupport/), we are working on a group project around Rachel Platten’s ‘Fight Song’ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo1VInw-SKc) at the moment. I’m hoping to create a video to go along with this anthem in order to tailor its already powerful message towards mental health. To do this, as well as my own drawings, I’m hoping to get as many people as possible to write out two phrases:
“This is my fight song” and
“I’ve still got a lot of fight left in me.
It doesn’t matter if you aren’t a member of the group, if you just manage to scribble the words out illegibly and use your phone to take a picture, or if you’d be more comfortable writing it in another language – all I’m looking for is a collective spirit of strength and community with regards for mental health.
So please, if you have a few moments, I would be so grateful if you could write out these two phrases, take a quick snap of them, and post it in the comments/message it to me (it will all remain completely anonymous).
I would also like to take this opportunity once again to point anyone who would like support with their/someone else’s mental health towards the group: we are a friendly, open and empathetic bunch and I am incredibly proud of the supportive atmosphere that the members have fostered here. Everyone uses the group in different ways and interacts at various levels, so please don’t feel at all shy or like there would be anything required of you if you join – everyone is welcome and everyone is cared about.
Love and thanks to you all,
Molly xx
P.S. My contribution to the video will be a bit different – working on visualising the lyrics, so to give you a few sneak peaks…
